Team

Built by operators, structurers and investors

NOAK is a first-time fund built by an experienced team. Our backgrounds combine venture investing in physical technologies, project and deployment finance, industrial execution and regulated fund operations. We have worked on both sides of the missing middle: scaling companies and financing the assets they deploy.

How we underwrite

Technology readiness is necessary. Infrastructure readiness is where we work.

We assess two things separately. Whether the technology works, and whether its deployment can be financed: reliable performance, industrial delivery, credible offtake, operational capability, risk allocation, insurability and replication. The second is where a company moves from proof to platform, and it is the work our team has done for two decades.

How we work

  • Focused

A concentrated portfolio, so every company gets hands-on attention.

  • Technical

Deep diligence led by people who have built and financed physical assets.

  • Institutional

A Luxembourg structure with an independent General Partner, an authorised external manager and ring-fenced compartments.

Partner pipeline

We are expanding the partnership with senior investment and capital-formation profiles across Europe.

Governance

The fund is externally managed by an authorised AIFM, with the General Partner responsible for origination and selection.
